About Life, and Creeks, and me…

Adam creek2

I’ve been living by the creek for almost 20 years. Life by a creek is a wonderful thing, especially when you add a little boy in to the mix. We did that 10 years ago, and life hasn’t been the same since.

I never knew that there were crawfish in our creek, but the boy found them.

And if you had told me that fish big enough to fry could be caught in the creek, I would have laughed.

That was then; now I know better. I know a hundred different types of bugs, twenty different snakes, and countless turtles, frogs, and lizards.

And I know wonder, and the second chance to see the world through the eyes of a child. So, welcome to Life by the Creek. I hope you can see at least a little of it through our eyes….

Yea! I found your blog! And the picture of the June bug flying ’round the boys head! Love it! About to go search through the depths!

How did I miss that you had moved over to this blog???? I’ve been wondering why you haven’t been updating the other one!

I looked for you Sunday but didn’t see you. We went to both worship services. We are now in Richmond, Virginia until Friday night. Home for a week and then off to visit Chris and Kate. Call me Sat. or Sun. at 770-424-1775. Cuppa tea down by the creek sounds great!
