I Heart Faces–the Beach

The theme at I Heart Faces this week is “The Beach”. Although I have some photos of the Bug Hunter playing in the sand, building sandcastles, and splashing in the waves, the beach has taken on a new meaning to me since serving at the Lighthouse Retreat the past two summers. It’s all about love, and this picture says it all. The man in the hat, Powell, was our emcee both years. And the little boy was our retreat child the first summer; he and his family were back the next year, even though they weren’t our family. There’s a lot of emotion in this picture, and the ocean in the background just ties God’s love and His creativity all together in one big, beautiful package.
Head on over to I Heart Faces for what I feel may be the best set of entries yet; you can’t get a better background than the beach! And don’t forget to shake the sand out of your shoes before you leavep.s. How do you like my new photo blog? I haven’t tricked it up yet, but I just love the fact that my pictures are now full-sized and fully visible!

  1. WOOHOOOO!!! You’ve crossed over to the “other” side! LOL

Are you talking about adding the button to the POST itself or permanently to your blog on the side?

LOVE the photo by the way!

If the button doesn’t work in your blog post, let me know. You should be able to click the “HTML” button in your post, then add the code. When you click back over to “Visual” it should be there.

Speaking on behalf of all persons without blogs everywhere (yes, I am blog-less), this is one cool photo. It speaks volumes and there aren’t even any words. As for the new blog, I was right. The tool bar IS at the top. 🙂

Hope to find tons of inspiration through the pages of your blog! 🙂 Thanks so much!
